Why is WordPress the best platform for my website?
For most websites, WordPress is the best platform due to its flexibility, unlimited functionality, cost efficiency and ease of use. Google loves WordPress. This is why WordPress sites tend to rank higher than others in search engines.
Unlike platforms like Wix, Squarespace, Shopify, etc. WordPress is an open-source software, meaning that you have full ownership of your website. You do not need to pay licensing or subscription fees or be dependent on a third party. With WordPress, your website is your property.
However, keep in mind that in general, the platform you pick is not as important as the agency you hire. A content management system (CMS) like WordPress is only a tool for the job. What matters more is the expertise of the person using the tool to build your website, which is why it is important to pick an agency with a track record of success.
Can I maintain the website myself? Do you provide training?

We give you full training on how to edit your website and provide ongoing monthly support. We’re always by your side in case you want to update your website or just want to ensure that it works well.
While you own your website and can make the edits yourself, there is also an option for you to outsource these tasks to us if you don’t want to learn WordPress. Our monthly Website Care Plan includes website edits, performing backups and technical updates, monitoring its speed and safety.
Can you maintain the website for me, including updating it?
After the website is launched, you have an option to either get training on how to use your website (via Zoom and pre-recorded videos) and/or leave the website maintenance up to us via our monthly Website Care Plan. Our Care Plan includes website edits, performing backups and technical updates, monitoring its speed and safety.
Many of our clients prefer to outsource their monthly website maintenance tasks to us. Our maintenance plans start at $175/month, which also includes website hosting.
Is my site going to load fast?
Yes, we use powerful enterprise tools such as Cloudflare CDN and premium managed cloud hosting servers to ensure top speeds. We also use website caching technology to create a snapshot of your website, which decreases load speeds. Your images and database will be optimized as well.
Do you offer web hosting? What web hosting service should I use?
Yes, website hosting can make or break your users’ experience of your website. We recommend Cloudways.com managed hosting due to the fast speeds, security, uptime and excellent customer support.
While we prefer Cloudways’ Digital Ocean’s High Frequency servers, there are many other great web hosting providers, such as Kinsta, WPEngine, Flywheel and more.
Try to stay away from cheap “shared” hosting providers, as these can hurt your website security, SEO and speed. Any of the above-mentioned high-quality options would work well.
Do I own the website?
Yes. Once you have paid off the full amount/term of your website agreement, the website is your property. You can then choose to host, manage, and maintain the website on your own. Or you can outsource these tasks to us if you don’t want to learn WordPress. Our monthly Website Care Plan includes website edits, performing backups and technical updates, monitoring its speed and safety.
Will my website be fully secured and protected?
Yes. While developing the website, we make sure that all of our websites are HTTPS-based (including SSL certificates). If you are using our web hosting, you will automatically get an SSL certificate for free, but if you are planning on using a different web hosting provider you will have to clarify this information with them.
How many revisions do I get?
All of our website builds, logo designs and branding packages include unlimited revisions during the project period. We keep working on your website until you’re happy with how your website looks and functions.
How long does the project take?
For most websites, the timeline is 1-2 months. If your website has eCommerce, membership or other sophisticated functionalities, it might take longer. If we are also designing your logo and brand guidelines, that has to be done first before we can begin working on the website.
Can you help me write my website content?
Yes, we help clients write their website content. Your website content is a crucial piece of the puzzle — it is how you communicate your values to your website visitors and convince them to get in touch with you or buy your product.
We can either write the content for you, convert your rough outline/bullet points into full website pages, or work with you side by side to write the content over Zoom. We use a system we call the “Content Worksheet” to allow you to easily organize your content in a single document, accessible to everyone working on the project.
Do I really need to hire a company to build my website?
If your budget is reasonable (i.e., above $3000), then choosing an agency is typically the best option because the agency provides quality and long-term stability, while freelancers come and go. Agencies have more reliable management and technical systems in place and better response times, which is especially important for your ongoing hosting and maintenance plans.
